Adelaide Post Office

This is a shot of the Adelaide Post Office taken from just left of Victoria Square. I love the old architecture of this building. The Post Office was completed in 1872 and the tower, which was named the Victoria Tower, was just over 50 meters and at the time was said to be the highest in Australia. Just to the right you will notice the smaller tower of the Adelaide Town Hall, but I will do a separate post on this later.

I thought that the statue of the head above some of the windows and the main entrance a nice touch.
