Ukrainian Autocephalic Orthodox Church Parish Of St. Michael
This quite unique looking building is located on Port Rd, just left of South Rd as your heading towards Elizabeth. The cross just to the right of the picture is dedicated to “To The Memory Of More Than Seven Million Ukrainians Who Died During The Artificial Famine Organised By The Russian Communist Regime In Ukraine 1932-1933″

The FlexSqueeze Theme gives my blog that professional look and as you can see is great for photo blogs. I loved it so much that I bought the developers license. It's the easiest most customizable theme I've come across. See how easy it is to change your theme's appearance! Compare it to Thesis to see how much better it is! Tabor Lutheran Church In Tanunda Barossa Valley

Tanunda is a picturesque town found in beautiful Barossa Valley, South Australias premier wine district. Located only 70km from Adelaide it is well worth the trip out. Most people that visit the area love to take the winery tour where they can taste some of the best wines in Australia.

The Tabor Lutheran Church located on Murray Street (the main street of town) is really quite remarkable. You will notice an orb on the top of the 26 meter spire and it is said that the orb actually holds some old church records. The church dates back from 1849 and as you can see from the photo, it has quite a bit of character.

This truly beautiful Catholic Cathedral stands on the corner of Wakefield Street, to the east of Victoria Square. It wasn’t completed until 140 years after the laying of the foundation stone, and at the time of this photo was undergoing some upgrading.

    St. Francis Xavier Church Adelaide

One of the few churches that has its very own home page complete with worship details, history and news letter etc.

St. Patrick’s Church has a special place in my heart because that was where I committed my life to my beautiful wife. After the original church, that was located in West Terrace, got to be too small for the congregation it was decided to build a new one on Grote St. The occasion was so popular that when they were laying the foundation stone for the present church in 1912 there were 10,000 people present.

Today it still stands out amongst the other buildings and it’s most likely one of the main reasons we chose this stunning church as the place for our wedding. We were probably one of the last ones that were able to use it for free.

    St.Patrick's

The basic floor plan is that of a ‘basilica’ that dated back to 4th century Rome. The organ at St. Patrick’s, built by William Dodd in 1900, originally resided at the Hindmarsh Square Congregational Church, but when that church closed they purchased it for St. Patrick’s and it is there to this day.

When we were married there some 20 year ago, heck you can’t expect me to remember the exact year, I’m a bloke remember? Anyway in those days we just had to slip the priest some cash but now I think there is some cash involved for use of the church, which is understandable considering what would be involved in the upkeep of this beautiful building.

After all, as the wedding is one of the most important events in a persons life, at least for the woman, why wouldn’t you want to hold it in beautiful surroundings such as you will find at St. Patrick’s Church!
