I went for a drive down to Waterfall Gully yesterday to see if I could take a photo of the waterfall there, aptly named First Falls. It’s a beautiful spot, very peaceful and serene. The best thing is that you can drive almost right up to it and is great for those who are unable to walk a great distance.

Waterfall Gully is a suburb of Burnside but the falls itself is part of the Cleland Conservation Park.

For those of you who do not mind a bit of walking you are sure to find some lovely flowers while strolling through this lovely conservation park.

There are lots of photos that can be taken for those not scared of a little stroll.

If you are really lucky, you may even find the Waterfall Gully Restaurant open for business.

It’s open Thursday to Monday 11.00am – 5.30pm and Friday evenings but bookings on that night is essential.
